Micah Network invites you to its Asia-Pacific Consultation on Stewardship in Integral Mission to be held in Cha’am, Thailand from September 27 to October 1, 2010.

Aim:                 Effective Stewardship in Integral Mission in the Asia- Pacific region

 Objectives     By the end of the five-day consultation, it is hoped that participants will have

  • An enhanced biblical understanding of stewardship in Integral Mission
  • Identified key issues influencing stewardship in Integral Mission
  • Shared and acquired knowledge of best practice and skills for stewardship in Integral Mission
  • Been encouraged and strengthened in worship, prayer, fellowship and interaction

 Sessions      The Consultation will follow one theme each day

  • Stewardship... what are we stewards of?
  • Securing what we are endowed with... our bodies, resources, environment
  • Including the marginalised... the disabled, women, the poor, discriminated, etc
  • On accountability to each other, governance
  • Going forth to serve

The Consultation is divided into 13 sessions of about 60 – 90 minutes each with plenary sessions and group discussions. Case studies and workshops will be  presented by participants. IMPORTANT NOTICE: THE LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF CASE STUDY AND WORKSHOP APPLICATIONS IS EXTENDED TO SEPTEMBER 13TH, 2010

Simultaneous interpretation will be available in major Asian languages subject to demand.

Participants: The Consultation is open to representatives and individuals of churches, aid agencies, Christian organisations, and theological institutes interested in understanding accountable stewardship and who desire to become better stewards of the Gospel.
