Introduction
A regional consultation for participants from North and East Asia from 9-13 January 2006

The program will incorporate bible teaching on integral mission, worship led by various country groups, plenary talks, workshops, seminars and time to share with fellow workers from around the region.
Plenary topics will be given on topics including:
- Introduction to Integral Mission
- Responding to the global poor
- Responding to injustice, locally and globally
- Global economics and poverty
- Introduction to the Micah Challenge - mobilising Christians against poverty
- The challenges and opportunities of globalisation
Resource people for this consultation will include:
- Dr Melba Padilla Maggay, President of ISAAC Philippines and member of Micah Network's International Panel of Reference
- Rev CB Samuel, Chair of Prabaav, a network of Indian Christian organisations involved in social concern, former director of EFICOR and lecturer for the Oxford Centre of Mission Studies
- Doug Balfour, member of Micah Network's global Coordinating Group and Executive Director of Integral Alliance

Case studies will be presented by representatives of Micah Network members including:
- Dr Chan of Cedarfund Hong Kong
- Mr Lee Chee Loi of Malaysian Care
- Stan Rowland of Medical Ambassadors International
The program will also include optional workshops on Micah Network's Partnerships Project - a project which has so far developed Partnership Guidelines for support agencies and implementing agencies, and is now working towards consistent proposal guidelines and reporting guidelines for Christian relief and development organisations. We are seeking expressions of interest from Micah Network members and others who would like to share their experience on the themes we have listed above.

Accommodation
The consultation will be held at the Breakthrough Youth Village, New Territories, Hong Kong from 9-13 January 2006.
Participants are requested to arrive at the Breakthrough Youth Village by Monday afternoon 9 January in time for registration at 3pm and program start at 5pm.
Transport between Hong Kong International Airport and the venue will be provided.
Cost
The cost per person for participation (including share accommodation and meals) is US$ 325 (for paid-up Micah Network members) / US$350 for all other participants. On-line payments must be made in GBP: GBP 180 for contributing Micah Network members and GBP 195 for all other participants.
Single room fee: not applicable
Conference fee
For paid-up members of The Micah Network: £180 per person.
For others: £195 per person.
